English has become one of the most important languages, followed by Mandarin (Chinese), etc. English is spoken in many countries, such as America, Australia, Europe, even in the Asia. People in different countries cannot communicate with each other by using their language, they use English to share their conversation. English can help me, to learn more, to know other countries, and to communicate with them, and I think, it is compulsory for us to know, at least I can hear and understand the meaning. Another reason is, English is used in the business world, to buy and sell, to trade or to negotiate. That's why English can help me and even you, in so many aspects, so, let's learn English!

Week 4. Basketball

Basketball, consists of 10 players of both teams, and total of 14 subtitudes. That's mean, 5 player and 7 subtitudes for each team. Each team needs to compete to get the ball and shoot it to the basket ring, and will get a score of 2 points. And if we shoot from the outer line of the half circle it will get a score of 3 points. The time for the match is divided into four rounds, each round have 10 minutes time, and will be given extra time when it is a draw.There are several names for fouls, double, travelling, jump, and tackling. And there are several skill called, duckling, cross over, fade away, under ring, slam dunk, fast break, and turn over. On the field there are two referees each one guiding each side for fouls and cheating. Normally, in the NBA each team can score from 80 to 100 points at the end of the match.

Week 5. My free time

I spend my free time by going abroad, and find interesting jobs to do. By going abroad we can see other parts of the world, as we get more information and view about another culture and habits. On the other hand, I can also find part time job, to increase my income. My father told me to help him in his business, and I do it. My father also gives me some payment for that. In another spare time, I can relax, and play at home or even go to mall for refreshing with my friends. I can also go with my hobby that is playing basketball. That's all, this is how, I can spend my free time.

Spending My Time during Holiday

Holiday will come, I can't wait. Spending my time for sleep is the best. But, unfortunately I must spend my time to do home things, such as, sweep, cook, wash , and others. Helping your mom isn't bad, right? Other than that, I will spend my holiday by playing game, reading comics, and drawing. it's my plan to do so. Maybe during holiday, my family and I will go somewhere to have a fun and get refreshing. Or else in this Idul Fitri holiday, we eat ketupat sayur. H mm...yummy. Well, that's my plan during my holiday.

I'm going to spend my free time

During my free time I usually go to book store or coffee shop. Why I choose those places, because I feel comfortable there. I can spend lots of time there, from searching for books that I need or just looking for something new. If you spend time in books store, you can save lots of money. Why? because you can read some of books that you want without buying it first or even made library member card first. That is why I like to spend my free time in book stores. But I also like to spend my free time in a coffee shop. But this habit can cost me lots of money. Why? Because I like Starbucks. for this habit I prefer to go with my parents, so I don't have to use my money.

How am I going to spend my leisure time

People in this world always have their leisure time after working or studying. To fill in their free time, they have their own way to fill in their free time. For me, if I have the leisure time usually I use it by making my homework/assignments. Therefore, I’ll be free later, since I already made it before. Besides of doing my tasks, when I am at home, I’ll fill my free time for sleeping, watching TV, or listening the music. For the weekend (on Saturday) usually I hang out with my friends to mall, café, or playing billiards. Then, for the weekend, (on Sunday), I always go with my parents where ever they go.

The cause of traffic jam in Jakarta

In Jakarta (capital city of Indonesia), there is always traffic jam everyday, since the number of vehicles are always increasing. Besides, many people buy car, they also buy motorbikes and trucks. Therefore, the space on the road is becoming narrow and full of the vehicles. Now, the government build the bus way and it is causing the space on the road to become smaller. Even though sometimes the bus way is empty, we can not pass the road and I think this is the other reason why Jakarta is having more traffic jam.

How I spend my free time

When I'm in free and all my job done, usually it's time for me to do something I like so much, that's too many thing to do, one example is playing games, when playing games time usually flow faster compared to when we sit down daydreaming. And, we can play internet to entertain us, because just like playing games, time goes faster. And, internet is always updated, so we'll never be bored and feel monotone. If I'm bored of playing games, I will watch movies, of course, good movies not a bad one. Or I can call my friends to hang out with them, or do some sport, like football, swimming, billiard, and so on. And if I have no money or no friend to hang out with, the best idea in my mind is to sleep tight.

I always spend my free time on the computer.The reason why I'm so attracted in playing computer is that I can chat with my friends.You can also communicate with friends from other countries. With internet connection, distance becomes shorter. It is not just about chatting, but there are many things that can be done with computers. If you get bored, you can download games from the internet for free. We can download music from the internet too. Computers make our lives more convenient. With a single click,you can purchase things that you want. Computer is also a source of information. It is proven to be useful in helping people to finish their work since they can simply read from the internet. Computer is not just about words. It can be used for designing things such as cars, houses, sky-scrappers, airplanes and many more. With computer, it will enable 3D views, so that we will know better about the product. If you get bored, just turn on your computer and you will find that there are tons of things that you can do.

The Bad Effects from Computer

Computer gives more bad effect than benefit. If you play computer for a long time, usually it will cause dizziness. It is usually because the user is not used to it and did not take a break after using computer. Sitting in front of the computer will also cause sprain hands, neck and legs. Before you keep on playing computer, make sure that you strecth your body. Computer also damages your vision. After playing computer, your sight will become blur and difficult to see images from far distance. The worst thing is that you will become blind if you don't stop playing computer for a long time. The maximum time recommended for playing computer is about 1 hour a day. Beside vision, computer will also damages our brain. If you keep watching the monitor for a long time, you will find that you will be a little disconnected and difficult to catch the main point of a conversation. It is because the radiation of the computer that passes through our eyes and get into our brain. The best thing is to stay away from computer to avoid sickness.

How I am going to spend my free time

If I have a free time, I will take a rest for a while. After that, I will read some novels for refreshing. And then, I will waste my time with my family because now, I am too busy to have a conversation with them.

In the next day, I will contact my old friends. I really miss them and don’t have any time to meet them. I will visit my best friend and lost time with her. And then, I will try to study a little to make me remember the lessons.

How I am going to spend my free time?

In my free time I like to read books, especially comic books and novels. I liked to read funny comic books, and for the novels I like to read criminal or fiction. Sometimes I also read magazine, for example national geography or go girl. Since I was a child, I have already liked to read books. I still remember my mom used to get mad at me. She told me that when I read a book, I liked to forget about other things and not done my job.

So I try to hold back my feeling and not read until I done my job. For example I only read a novel at Saturday or Sunday. If I read a novel other days, I have a bad habit, to feel anxious about the end of the story and can’t stop until I know it or I fell asleep. From read books, I fell more relax and I can know about many new things. That is why if I have my free time I like to use it for read my book. So I can read as many book as I can without forget to do my duty.

Superman Vs. Spiderman

These super heroes from comic books have been very famous for many years. Both of them always fight crime and destroy evil. Even though they are similar in many things, sometimes I wonder who is the “cooler one” Superman or Spiderman.

As you already know, Superman has many power, such as flying, strong body, and strong power. In the story Superman even can pick up a train without any difficulties, he can also move fast to avoid bullet. Different from Superman, Spiderman not that strong and can’t fly. Spiderman has special abilities to make a spider net from his vein, he also have spider sense so he can move more flexible, or hear something from far distance. When you see the power of these super heroes, you may feel they are equal. But in the end, I think Spiderman is cooler than Superman, because if you think about Superman costume, you will realize that he wear his underpants outside his clothes and he will not seams cool any more.

My Favorite Comics Series

Detective Conan comics made me love them so much.
There are so many things I like from those comics. First is the main actor, Shinichi or Conan. Shinichi Kudo is the only son of the wealthy parents who left him in Japan since he was 14 years old. He is a brilliant soccer player, clever and confident. He is great in shooting a gun on target and flying a helicopter. He idolizes Sherlock Holmes, a fictive detective, and expected to be like him. He is very popular in school as he was a handsome boy and talented as a detective. He loves Ran Mouri, his childhood friend and so does she. Accidentally, Shinichi was involved in a case which also involved 2 mysterious men in black who force fed a poison meant to kill him. He was shrunk into a child’s form. To hide his identity, he adopt a new identity as Conan Edogawa, a child who left by his parent alone and claimed to be a distant relative of Shinichi. He was taken care and lived with Ran Mouri and her father, Kogoro Mouri since Kogoro is a detective too and Shinichi hope he can get some information about men in black by helping him in some cases.
Also, I like the cases which were solved by him.
They are all could sharpen our brain by thinking critically and logically. They also gain our knowledge. Most of them are about murdering, revenging.
I love reading Conan Edogawa comics.

How I am going to spend my free time

I going to spend my free time with listen to music and read the books.Sometimes, I accordingly to doing that. I don't like noisy music. I loved instrumental or melow music. I really seldom to have a free time , because In desaign grafis class make me have a lot of assigment. So , If have a free time I will used the best and never waste time by doing useless things. I do everything that I loved and Like.Usually, in my free time I don't like to go everywhere.For me , I really enjoyed and feel comfortable, if I spent my free time at home.In otherhand, At home You can do enything you want, not only listen music and read books , but also you can do anything like watch television , make some diary or everything to use your time useful.In addtion , I also always try to Use my free time to make my mind relaxed , happy , and clear.
